Shelby Leigh Smith

Shelby Smith is a mixed methodologist doctoral candidate at the University of Southern California concurrently pursuing a Master of Public Policy and Ph.D. in Urban Education Policy. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) in Social Policy and Public Service. Shelby’s current research is centered on the design and student-level effects of school choice policies and those that support culturally relevant curriculum and pedagogy in K-12 schools.
