Sharon L. Burton
stands out as an eminent figure in cybersecurity leadership, information security, business, and education with a distinguished career spanning over 25 years at the intersection of academia, industry, and government. Her exper-tise is grounded in a robust foundation of technical acumen and strategic oversight, enabling her to fortify information security and enhance organizational resilience effectively. Dr. Burton's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Cybersecurity Leadership, a DBA in Quality Systems Management, two MBA degrees (Human Resources Management, and Management, alongside multiple certifications in in-formation security management, project management, change management, strate-gic workforce planning, and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, among others. A prolific thought leader, Dr. Burton has contributed over 110 publications to the field, including peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and conference pro-ceedings, showcasing her dedication to advancing knowledge and practice in cyber-security and leadership. Her work is recognized and indexed in prestigious data-bases such as SCOPUS (56943042000), ORCID (0000-0003-1653-9783), and Web of Science (B-2916-2019).
