Shanna Jamanis
Shanna Jamanis
is the Associate Dean for the School of Education and Co-Director for the Interdisciplinary Specialty Program in Autism at Nazareth University. She is a former special education teacher, integration facilitator, behavior specialist, and coordinator for autism services. Her research and professional development interests include Neurodiversity, strength-based planning and support in schools for students on the autism spectrum, and interprofessional preparation of teacher candidates. Dr. Jamanis has presented locally, nationally and internationally on teacher preparation and autism interprofessional preparation.
