Shanmugam Subramanian
serving as Assistant Professor in School of Business and Management at CHRIST University Bangalore has 18 years of overall experience encompassing 13 years as Faculty, teaching Management Courses focusing on Human Resource and Organizational Behavior and 5 years in Industry serving in Human Resource Function. He has received his Master of Business Administration degree from SRM College, (Affiliated to Madras University, Chennai,) Tamil Nadu, India and has been awarded Doctor of Philosophy in Management degree from Bharathiar University, (Coimbatore,) Tamil Nadu, India. He has been qualified UGC – National Level Eligibility Test thrice consecutively - NET Lectureship (Management), NET Lectureship (Human Resource Management) and NET Assistant Professor (Human Resource Management). He has also been All-India Topper (Top 5%) twice in National Program on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) Certifications conducted by IITs and funded by Ministry of HRD, Government of India and holds certifications in Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development, Psychology, Emotional Intelligence, and Research. He has published his research papers focused on Human Resources in various reputed national and international journals. He has 10 publications to his credit and has attended 11 national and international seminars/conferences in IIMs, NITs and other reputed institutions. He has been a Co-Project Director for a Research Project entitled “Impact of Mindfulness Initiatives on Mitigating Students' Anxiety in Higher Educational Institutions” with a grand-in aid of INR 8,90,000 by Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Ministry of Education, Govt of India. He has been invited as resource person for various programs focused on Soft Skills, Employability Skills, Coaching National Eligibility Test for Assistant Professor (NET) Aspirants.
