Shaima Afendi

Shaima Afendi is an assistant professor at the National Institute of Labor and Social Sciences in Tunis. With a PhD in clinical psychology and psychopathology from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Tunis, she teaches psychology and conducts research at the Laboratory of Clinical Psychology, which focuses on intersubjectivity and culture. Her clinical practice incorporates modern approaches such as schema therapy and relaxation techniques to treat disorders such as anxiety and depression. Dr. Afendi actively contributes to the advancement of psychology in Tunisia through her publications and her commitment to education and research.
