Shahriar Shams
Shahriar Shams
is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering Programme Area, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) since December, 2012. Before joining UTB, he worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Islamic University of Technology (IUT), a subsidiary organ of OIC. He obtained his PhD from The University of Manchester (UK) in 2008 and his M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Infrastructure from Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) Sweden sponsored by Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA). He has published over 50 refereed journals and conference papers, including Book Chapters. His research interest includes SWM, IWRM and Climate Change.
