Seyda Emekci
Şeyda Emekci
, MSc, PhD, received her bachelor’s, master and doctoral degrees from Middle East Technical University (METU). Worked as an associate at the Development Agency and the General Director of Nature Conservation and National Parks, in Turkey from 2014 to 2017. Postdoctoral researcher at East London University, in the UK in 2019. Currently teaches in the Architecture Department at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University (AYBU). Has been involved in various change projects at the different architectural levels in public and private sectors and with civil associations in Turkey since 2011. Specialization areas include sustainability, energy efficiency, smart homes, architectural education, housing economics and housing policy.
