Satyadhyan Chickerur
Satyadhyan Chickerur received his B.E degree in E&C, M.Tech in CSE and PhD in Computer and In-
formation Sciences. He has served as Faculty in various engineering colleges in India. Presently he is with
the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, KLE Technological University (Formerly B V
Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology), Hubli as a Professor and PI of NVIDIA Cuda teaching
center. He is one of the members of NVIDIA University Relations Coordination Committee. He is a member of
ISTE, IEEE and ACM. He was the Execom member of IEEE signal processing society, Ban-galore chapter
(2007-2009). He was a Member of Intel – IISC – VTU multicore Curriculum Development committee. He was
one of the judges and problem setter for ACM ICPC programming contest of the Asia Regional’s in the year
2007 and 2008. He has received various grants from industry and other Organizations for research as well.
Majority of the course offerings since 2007 are designed and developed based on the concept of outcome-based
education involving modified Blooms taxonomy, Project based learning, Practice based learning in collaboration/
association with various Industries.
He has published his research papers in various journals & conferences. He has also presented tutorials, Invited Talks
on various occasions. Additionally, he is a referee for various international journals & conferences. His research
interests include Parallel, Multicore and GPU Programming, Parallel Data Analytics, Image Processing, soft
computing and Technology enhanced Learning. He has received the BOLT award from Air India for year
2008-09.His biography has been profiled in Marquis Who’s Who in Science and Engineering for year 2007,Who’s
Who in the World 2008, 2012 , 2013, 2014 and 2016.
