Sarâh Benziane
Sarah Benziane
is a distinguished researcher and university lecturer in computer science and distributed systems, currently based at the Computer Science Department of the University of Science and Technology in Oran, Algeria. With a strong academic foundation, she holds an engineering degree in Parallel and Distributed Systems, a Magister in Electronics specializing in Vision and Pattern Recognition, and a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence and Pattern Recognition. Her research has produced a wealth of publications primarily focused on biometrics, hand vein recognition, and the application of convolutional neural networks (CNNs) in image processing. In addition to her research contributions, Sarah Benziane has supervised numerous undergraduate and master's projects on topics ranging from biometric systems and irrigation optimization to intelligent asset management. She has also been actively involved in organizing national and international conferences, such as doctoral workshops and conferences on embedded and distributed systems, and has served on scientific committees for conferences focused on artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things (IoT). Sarah Benziane is the author of several academic books, including one on reactive navigation for mobile robots and another on computer networks. Her recent work includes innovative research on AI applications for weather prediction and anti-theft systems for agriculture. She is currently involved in several national and international projects related to the application of AI in smart industry automation and renewable energy systems, as well as in fundamental research in computer science.
