Sarah Albrecht

Sarah Albrecht is an Assistant Professor of Bilingual Education at the University of Houston–Downtown. Her research interests include biliteracy, pedagogical translation in bilingual environments, bilingual teacher preparation, and linking bilingual education in primary grades to heritage language maintenance and growth in secondary grades. She earned her Master of Arts in Spanish from New Mexico State University and her Master of Education and PhD in Language, Reading and Culture from the University of Arizona.
