Santi Kumari Behera
Dr.
Santi Kumari Behera
is an esteemed Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla, Odisha, India. With over 15 years of teaching and research experience, she specializes in image processing, wireless sensor networks, and machine learning applications in agriculture and healthcare. Dr. Behera earned her Master of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela. Her academic career includes positions at NIST Berhampur (2010–2012) and MNNIT Allahabad (2012–2015) before joining VSSUT. She has co-authored over 100 research publications, contributing significantly to areas such as disease detection in crops, fruit maturity classification, and medical diagnostics using deep learning. Notable works include studies on COVID-19 detection, rice leaf disease identification, and breast cancer detection using thermography images. Additionally, she holds a registered copyright for a literary work titled “IOT Based Management and Prediction of Currency Flow through UPI Transaction.
