Sandra Arranz-Paraíso
Sandra Arranz Paraíso
is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Psychology at the Complutense University of Madrid. She holds a Psychology degree and has received numerous awards throughout her academic journey, highlighting the first national prize for academic excellence in the field of Health Sciences for her performance in the Psychology degree. Also, she has a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology (Cognitive Science). Her experience is multidisciplinary, having worked on research related to basic psychological processes, Automatic Engineering and Robotics, and data science. Her training highlights two master’s degrees related to Data Science, ML, Psychometrics and cognitive process modeling. She has participated in two patents and has 15 publications in international journals, as well as contributing to four book chapters in the fields of engineering and computer science, highlighting contributions on AI and virtual reality. She has been part of the research team for 5 projects funded by national and European institutions in interdisciplinary groups and has obtained 5 competitive contracts throughout her research career.
