Samar I. Swaid
Dr. Samar Swaid recived her PhD degree in Applied Computing in 2007 from University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She is currently an associate professor of Computer Science and the Division Chair of Natural and Physical Sciences at Philander Smith College of Little Rock, Arkansas. Dr. Swaid’s research interests span areas of human-computer interaction, e-science environments, e-service quality, and STEM undergraduate education. She is mainly focusing on usable security issues, such as CAPTCHA design, password-based authentication systems, and password construction policies. Her research has been published in national conferences, book chapter and peer-reviewed journals. She also published a number of book chapters.
