Salman Hameed
Salman Hameed
is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Studies at Bahria University, Karachi Campus. He holds a Ph.D. with a research focus on the impact of employee values on organizational sustainability. His academic prowess is further strengthened by a Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychology. He has 20 research papers to his credit, published in national and international-level research journals. He has written three book chapters on the aspect of human capital development in the corporate sector, published in the Scopus-listed books of IGI Global. Industry Experience & Core Competencies With corporate experience in the production and manufacturing sector, Dr. Hameed has developed strong people management skills and a passion for implementing innovative strategies. He is a certified HSE professional (OHSAS 18001), enabling him to integrate best practices in health, safety, and environment into organizational processes. Consultancy & Training He is a seasoned consultant and trainer, having conducted workshops and soft skills training for major industry players, including Pakistan Petroleum Limited, Sind Police – SSU Dept, Rajby Industries, Artistic Milliners, Indio Textile, Fabritex, Hutchison Ports Pakistan – SAPT Limited, Agha Khan Hospital, Ziauddin Hospital, and Tabba Kidney Hospital. He has been actively engaged in philanthropy work and has delivered various training sessions at Hunar Foundation for the project work of Business Asian Trust (BAT). His expertise extends to delivering value-based solutions that enhance operational effectiveness and people management for process owners. Advocacy & Thought Leadership A dedicated advocate for sustainability, Dr. Hameed champions the cause through talks and active engagement on social platforms. His multi-dimensional background allows him to understand and promote sustainable, value-driven solutions across educational, corporate, and social sectors.
