Salim Barbhuiya
, PhD, CEng, MICT, FHEA, is a Senior Lecturer in Civil Engineering at the University of East London. With a PhD in Material Technology from Queen’s University Belfast, he brings over 15 years of international academic and research experience from institutions including the University of Leeds, Curtin University, and Loughborough University. His expertise lies in sustainable construction materials and resilience in civil engineering. Dr Barbhuiya has secured substantial research funding and has published extensively in high-impact journals. He actively contributes to professional bodies and conferences worldwide, advancing innovation in concrete technology and sustainable infrastructure.
