Sachil Kumar

Sachil Kumar is an accomplished forensic scientist and academic, specializing in forensic chemistry, toxicology, and forensic medicine. He holds a PhD in Forensic Chemistry and Forensic Medicine from King George’s Medical University, India, where he developed an innovative, cost-effective method for postmortem interval (PMI) estimation using cardiac Troponin-T (cTnT) degradation, significantly extending the time window for accurate PMI determination. Dr. Kumar has a robust teaching portfolio, with experience as an Associate Professor at Amity University, Noida, and previously at institutions like Sandip University and Naif Arab University for Security Sciences in Riyadh, where he has delivered lectures, supervised master's dissertations, and contributed to curriculum development. His research skills span molecular biology, analytical chemistry, and toxicology, and he has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the UGC Junior and Senior Research Fellowships. In addition to his teaching and research, Dr. Kumar has contributed extensively to academic publishing, serving as Editorial Secretary for the Arab Journal of Forensic Sciences & Forensic Medicine and as a peer reviewer for numerous international journals. His work on toxicology and forensic analysis has been widely published, with key studies on substances like pentazocine, xylazine, and synthetic cannabinoids. Dr. Kumar is also a member of several professional societies, including the International Alliance of Clinical and Forensic Toxicologists and the Japanese Society of Toxicology. His interdisciplinary expertise, international experience, and dedication to forensic research make him a significant figure in the field.
