Russell O. West

Mr. Russell O. West is a Visiting Assistant Professor at Rochester Institute of Technology's National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID) Department of Deaf Education. He has served on twenty-plus accreditation teams for the Conference of Educational Administrators of Schools and Programs for the Deaf (CEASD) and is currently the chair of the Accreditation Committee. He has worked in the K12 environment for twenty-five years including most recently as School Superintendent at the Lexington School for the Deaf in New York City. Prior to that, he served in several capacities at the Texas School for the Deaf in Austin including Director of Student Affairs and Director of Student Support Services and Campus Operations. Currently, he is pursuing an Ed.D. in Educational Administration at the University at Buffalo.
