Rosalba Alvarado Acevedo
Rosalba Alvarado
is a Ph.D. student in Curriculum and Instruction at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, where she was awarded a fellowship centered on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Social Justice (DEISJ). A Fulbright alumna from El Salvador, Rosalba holds two master's degrees—one in Educational Counseling and another in Linguistics and TESOL. Her research interests focus on culturally responsive pedagogies tailored to support diverse communities, translanguaging, cultural wealth, and integrating technology in teaching and learning to foster inclusive educational practices.
