Romica Bhat
is a seasoned academician with an impressive track record of 13 years in academia and an additional 2 years in the industry. Presently, she holds the esteemed position of Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Amity School of Communication, Kolkata. Her areas of expertise encompass Broadcast Journalism and Digital Marketing, fields in which she has demonstrated her prowess through more than 10 published research papers in esteemed national and international journals. Dr. Bhat's academic prowess extends beyond research, as she has had the privilege of presenting her scholarly works at renowned institutions such as IIT Roorkee and Bhartiya Vidyapeeth. She boasts comprehensive proficiency in the key software employed in the Mass Communication industry and possesses a wealth of practical experience, having successfully managed over 500 radio and television projects. Dr. Bhat's impact extends beyond the classroom, as she serves as a valued member of the Board of Studies in prestigious private institutions and holds experience in dealing with the accreditation systems of NAAC and NIRF.
