Robin Rohit Vincent
is a distinguished academic and researcher with an impressive educational background. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (1998), a Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering (2000), and a Ph.D. in Computer Science (2003). Currently pursuing a Post-Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) at City, University of London, U.K., in 2024, Dr. Robin demonstrates a steadfast commitment to advancing research and innovation in his field. He serves as a Professor and Head of the Presidency School of Computer Science and Engineering (PSCS) at Presidency University, Bangalore. With over 25 years of extensive experience in higher education, Dr. Robin has taught at prestigious institutions in India and abroad, shaping the academic and professional trajectories of countless students. Previously, Dr. Robin held the position of Head of the Educational Technology Centre (Chief Technology Officer) at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences - Ibra, Sultanate of Oman. A certified CISCO instructor, he specializes in computer networks, cybersecurity, the Artificial Internet of Things (AIoT), and Generative AI. His prolific research output includes numerous scholarly articles published in esteemed journals indexed in SCI, WoS, and Scopus. Dr. Robin actively mentors Ph.D. students, serves on doctoral committees, reviews dissertations, and contributes as a journal reviewer for IGI Global and other reputed publishers. His academic contributions extend to authoring research papers, books, and book chapters, as well as holding patents in his areas of expertise. He is an esteemed member of professional associations such as the International Association of Engineers (IAENG), the Computer Society of India, the All India Association for Educational Research (AIAER), and The Institution of Engineers (AMIE). A dedicated educator, researcher, and innovator, Dr. Robin continues to influence the field of computer science and engineering through his scholarly endeavors, leadership, and active participation in professional associations.
