Robert J. Love
, DO, MS is a psychiatrist and Colonel in the United States Air Force. His career has spanned over two decades and involved diverse assignments in Europe, Asia, and multiple U.S. states. His global service reflects a deep commitment to military personnel's mental health and resilience, addressing unique challenges those in service face. Beginning his Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) career in New York City, Dr. Love gained valuable hands-on experience in emergency medical services. He furthered his expertise by earning a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine and a Master of Science in Human Nutrition from Columbia University, enabling him to approach mental health care with a strong foundation in both medical and nutritional sciences. Dr. Love completed his residency in psychiatry at the University of Texas Health Science Center, where he developed the skills needed to provide high-quality psychiatric care to diverse populations. His professional dedication is evident in his board certification in psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. In addition to his clinical focus, Dr. Love is passionate about leveraging technology to enhance the efficiency of healthcare delivery. He explores innovative tools and digital solutions that improve access to care, streamline treatment processes, and support patients and practitioners. His holistic approach to psychiatric care, enriched by his multifaceted background, makes him a key contributor to advancements in mental health within military and medical communities alike.
