Riëtte Sophia Schoeman
Riette Sophia Schoeman
is an experienced education leader currently serving as Head of Inclusion at Rawafed Private School in Abu Dhabi, UAE. She has over 15 years of teaching and leadership experience across mainstream and special education settings in South Africa and the UAE. Her expertise lies in inclusive education, learner support, and the development of school-wide intervention strategies for students with additional learning needs. Riette holds a Master’s degree in Education (University of East London), an Honours in Education with a focus on learner support, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science. She has contributed to national curriculum development in South Africa and conducted novice teacher training on behalf of the South African Teachers' Union. A strong advocate for inclusive practices, she continues to mentor educators and implement frameworks that support diverse learners in inclusive classrooms.
