Ritambhara Singh

Ritambhara Singh is an Associate Professor (Agribusiness Management), at the School of Agribusiness and Rural Management in Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, Pusa, Samastipur, Bihar, India. She holds a Master’s and a Doctorate in Agricultural Economics from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar. India. Besides this, she has completed a certificate course in Finance from the University of Michigan, USA, Microeconomics from the University of Illinois, USA, and Understanding value and Supply Chains from the University of Adelaide, Australia. She was one of the participants in Sathguru Cornell’s Food and Agribusiness Executive Management Program, 2022 as offered by Cornell University, USA. She has around nineteen years of professional experience in various capacities with organizations of repute viz. ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, MCX India Ltd, Mumbai, Advanced Biofuels USA, Maryland, USA, FAS-USDA, US Embassy, New Delhi, Compound Livestock Feed Manufacturers Association, Mumbai, Anand Agricultural University, India. She is actively engaged in the teaching of U.G, PG, and Ph.D. courses in the programs of Agribusiness Management, Rural Management, and Agricultural Economics, as also acting as academic guide to students from these programmes. Besides teaching, she has handled various National and International Projects, funded by the UNCTAD, the World Bank, State Governments, ICSSR, and others. Her areas of interest are Economic Theory, International Trade, Agribusiness Economics and Policies, Emerging marketing institutions, especially FPOs, and Secondary Agriculture. She is a member of several professional bodies and is on the editorial board of magazines. She has more than 190 publications to her credit in various forms in reputed journals, magazines, and news dailies.
