Rita Sharma
Rita Sharma
is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in Physics at Rayat Bahra University, where she has been teaching since 2021. With over 10 years of experience in teaching and academic mentorship, she has made significant contributions to the fields of experimental material science and physics. She earned her MSc in Applied Physics, followed by an MPhil and PhD in Physics from Guru Nanak Dev University. Her doctoral research focused on the structural, optical, and electrical properties of In-Sb-Ag-Se thin films, a quaternary chalcogenide system. Dr. Sharma has published her research in peer-reviewed journals and has collaborated on projects with leading institutions, including the Central University of Jammu. She is actively guiding PhD scholars and is a member of the Board of Studies (BoS), contributing to curriculum development and academic policy. Her work bridges theoretical understanding and experimental innovation, with ongoing efforts to integrate AI and machine learning into materials research.
