Rita Peres
Rita Peres
is an Assistant Professor at the Estoril Higher Institute for Tourism and Hotel Studies (ESHTE) in Estoril, Portugal. She completed her PhD in Economic and Business Sciences with a focus on Management in 2016, presenting a thesis titled “Tourist Destination Loyalty: A Multidimensional Perspective” at the Faculty of Economics, University of Algarve. Was role of Vice-President at ESHTE, contributing to the institute’s leadership and strategic development. Her academic work includes the coordination of two key research centres: the Centre for Research, Development and Innovation (CIDI) and the Centre for Research, Development and Innovation in Tourism (CiTUR). Her research interests lie in Business Sciences, with a particular emphasis on Tourism, Destination Marketing, Consumer Behaviour, Digital Marketing, Crisis Management, and the role of New Technologies in advancing these fields.I actively participate in various organised scientific events, including DSOTT’25 (Dsott25). My research activities are primarily centred on Tourism Managmnt, with a strong emphasis on Destination Marketing,social media
