Ravindra Kumar
Ravindra Kumar
is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at SRMS-CET Bareilly, serving as the Department Head since 2019. He earned his B.Tech from the College of Engineering Roorkee in 2006, M.Tech from IIT Roorkee in 2008, and Ph.D. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from IIT Roorkee in 2018. His research focuses on Welding Engineering, Additive Manufacturing, and Surface Engineering. He has published more than 20 research papers in SCI/SCOPUS indexed Journals. He has also presented more than 8 papers at international/ national conferences. His notable publications include works on TIG arcing process, surface modification of steels, and anticorrosive properties of nanocomposites. Dr. Kumar has guided 3 PG research projects and holds 5 patents for multidisciplinary technologies. With 15 years of combined teaching & research experience, he has expertise in Materials Engineering, Manufacturing Processes, Welding Engineering, and Mathematical Modeling of Manufacturing Processes. He qualified for the GATE exam in 2006. Dr. Kumar's significant contributions to his field are evidenced by his extensive publication record and ongoing research activities.
