Raphael Ribeiro da Silva
Raphael da Silva
is a Latin American maricón researcher from Rio de Janeiro’s West Zone, rooted in terreiro culture and initiated in Candomblé. She is a Ph.D. candidate in Bioethics, Applied Ethics, and Collective Health through a consortium of major Brazilian universities, with a research residency at the University of Coimbra. She holds a master’s degree in Literature from PUC-Rio and a bachelor’s degree in Media Studies from UFF. She is affiliated with research groups focused on Blackness, epistemic transgressions, and religiosity at UERJ and UFF.
