Raúl Gómez Cárdenas
Raúl Gómez Cárdenas
is a Mexican academic affiliated with El Colegio de Morelos. He holds a degree in Economics, a Master's in Administration, and a Ph.D. in Higher Education. With extensive experience in municipal and federal public sectors, as well as in higher education teaching, he currently serves as a full-time professor at El Colegio de Morelos, located in Cuernavaca, Morelos. His research areas include economics, political and social sciences, administration, and education. In October 2022, Dr. Gómez Cárdenas was appointed President of the Ethics Committee at El Colegio de Morelos. In this role, he has promoted training initiatives and the dissemination of a culture of integrity within the institution. In July 2024, he was recognized for his dedication and talent by being incorporated as a candidate into the National System of Researchers and Investigators of the National Council of Humanities, Sciences, and Technologies (CONAHCYT). Dr. Gómez Cárdenas has also contributed to academic literature. In May 2024, he published an article titled “Higher Education and Artificial Intelligence: Transitioning from Teaching to Tutoring” in the International Journal of Studies on Educational Systems (RIESED). This work discusses the current challenges in contemporary teaching, emphasizing the impact of new information technologies and artificial intelligence on education.
