Rajat Pandit
Rajat Pandit
is an accomplished academician and researcher specializing in Computer Science. He has made significant contributions to the fields of Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning, and Mobile Computing. With a Ph.D. from West Bengal State University, his doctoral research focused on computational semantics in Bengali, establishing his expertise in low-resource languages. Currently an Assistant Professor at West Bengal State University. He has over two decades of teaching and research experience. His research interests encompass Machine Translation, Sentiment Analysis, Text Summarization, Semantic Similarity, and Speech Processing. He has authored three edited books, two book chapters, and 23 journal publications, many of which are indexed in SCIE and other reputed platforms. Dr Pandit is actively involved in academic and administrative roles, serving on various committees at his university and contributing as a visiting faculty, external examiner, and syllabus committee member for other institutions. He is also recognized for his invited talks on topics like Machine Learning, Big Data, and IoT. A dedicated mentor, he supervises Ph.D. research and continuously contributes to advancing knowledge in computational sciences.
