Rachana Yogesh Patil
Rachana Yogesh Patil
is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Engineering (Regional Language) at Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering, Pune, India. She received her PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai in 2020. Her research expertise spans cryptography, network security, cybersecurity, and digital forensics, with a particular focus on network forensics. She has authored and co-authored more than sixty research papers in reputed international journals and conferences. She is featured in the Top 2% Scientist List (2024) published by Stanford University and Elsevier, recognizing her global research impact and scholarly excellence. She actively contributes to academic and professional communities through memberships in IEEE, ACM, and IETE. She has guided several student projects and continues to mentor young researchers in areas aligned with her expertise. Her academic and research contributions reflect a strong commitment to advancing secure communication systems and promoting innovative approaches in cybersecurity.
