Rachan Karmakar
, currently an Assistant Professor at Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), India, holds a strong academic background with a Ph.D. in Energy and Environment, following his studies in Zoology and Environmental Science. His research primarily focuses on renewable energy, environmental remediation, and sustainable technologies, with significant contributions in algal biodiesel production and optimization of biofuel properties to meet international standards. He has published impactful articles in reputed journals, including studies on the fuel properties and emission characteristics of biodiesel produced from unused algal biomass, establishing innovative approaches for waste-to-energy conversion. Recognized with the Algal Studies Excellence in Research Award, Dr. Karmakar continues to advance research on bioenergy, circular economy, and environmental protection, while actively engaging in academic collaborations, patents, and scientific forums to promote sustainable development.
