Rabi'atul Adawiyyah Haji Hassan
Rabi’atul Adawiyyah binti Haji Hassan
is an education officer with ten years of experience at the Language Centre, Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD). She teaches Malay Language and Communication to both local and international students, with a focus on the fundamentals of the Malay language and its cultural context. She holds a Master’s degree in Malay Language and Linguistics from Universiti Brunei Darussalam and is currently pursuing a PhD in Linguistics at Universiti Malaysia Sabah, expected to be completed in 2025. In her free time, she engages in self-directed study of foreign languages and cultures, particularly Korean and Filipino. Her academic interests lie in multilingualism, translanguaging, language acquisition, and cross-cultural communication.
