R. Kavitha
R. Kavitha
is an accomplished academician and researcher in the field of Computer Science and Engineering, with over 12 years of teaching experience across reputed institutions including Vel Tech High Tech Engineering College, Annamacharya Institute of Technology, and PSN College of Engineering and Technology. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Information Technology (2024) from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, with research focused on cervical cancer diagnosis using texture-based ensemble classification methods. Her academic background includes an M.E. in CSE from Anna University, an M.Phil. in Computer Science from Madurai Kamaraj University, and a dual degree in M.Sc. and B.Sc. Computer Science from Mother Teresa Women’s University. Dr. Kavitha has published over 12 international journal papers (including SCI and Scopus-indexed journals) and presented at several national and international conferences. She is a life member of IAENG, ISRD, and GERN, and has played key roles in academic committees such as Board of Studies, technical committees, and admission coordination. Her research interests lie in medical image processing, machine learning, and cancer diagnosis, and she brings strong technical expertise in tools like IDL, MATLAB, C++, Python, and Linux environments.
