Priyanka Mahajan
Dr.
Priyanka Mahajan
is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the University Center for Research and Development (UCRD), Chandigarh University, Mohali, Punjab. She has 3 years of teaching experience and 5 years of post-doctoral research experience in the field of plant sciences. She has completed her graduation and post-graduation degree from Panjab University, Chandigarh in Botany (Hons.). She has acquired her Ph.D. degree from Department of Botany, Panjab University, Chandigarh in the field of Botany (Eco-physiology) in 2015. The potential of monoterpene (Beta-pinene)- a natural plant product was explored to ameliorate the phytotoxic effects of hexavalent chromium in the cereal crops during her doctorate and post- doctorate research. Her academic and research achievements include Gold-Medal in M.Sc., 13 research and review articles in the international journal of high impact factors, 2 edited books, and 4 book chapters. She has participated and presented her research work in number of national and international conferences.
