Priyakrushna Mohanty
Priyakrushna Mohanty
(PK) is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Business and Management, Christ University, Bengaluru. Holding a Ph.D. in Tourism Studies from Pondicherry University, where he was a UGC Senior Research Fellow, Dr. Mohanty is a recipient of the prestigious Travel Corporation (India) Gold Medal for his Master's in Tourism Studies. His academic qualifications extend to an M.Com. in Finance and PG Diplomas in Rural Development, Research Methodology, and Teaching Skills. With prior industry experience at Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd., he brings a practical perspective to his role. A prolific researcher, Dr. Mohanty has authored over forty publications and co-edited five books with renowned publishers such as Routledge, Emerald, Springer Nature, and CABI. His research interests encompass Research Methodology, Tourism Sustainability, Livelihood, Events Tourism, e-Tourism, and Gender issues in Tourism Development.
