Preeti Singh Bahadur

Dr. Preeti Singh Bahadur is an accomplished academician and researcher, currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Science at Amity University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. She holds a B.Sc. in Electronics, M.Sc. in Physics, and a Ph.D. in Physics from Barkatullah University, Bhopal (M.P.). With over 21 years of experience in teaching and research, Dr. Bahadur has made significant contributions in the fields of Condensed Matter Physics, Lasers, Optics, Optoelectronics, and the Thermal and Dynamical properties of Alkali Halides, Cyanides, Superoxide, and Fullerene materials. She has supervised numerous M.Phil., Ph.D. scholars, and UG/PG students in their dissertation and research projects. She has successfully completed a research project funded by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Government of India, and has published over 90 research articles in reputed journals indexed in SCI/SCIE/SCOPUS. In addition, she has contributed several book chapters to Scopus-indexed publications and presented more than 25 research papers at various national and international conferences. Dr. Bahadur actively contributes to the global scientific community as a reviewer for many prestigious journals and serves on the editorial boards of several reputed publications. She is also a Program Committee Member for various IEEE conferences and holds memberships in distinguished organizations such as the Journal of Advances in Physics, the Scientific and Technical Committee & Editorial Review Board on Engineering and Physical Sciences (WASET), and the Amity University Network (AUN) Research Lab. She has chaired numerous sessions in international conferences and participated in various Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) and workshops on teaching pedagogy, ICT tools, LaTeX, and virtual labs, conducted by institutions like IIT Bombay, M.A.N.I.T., and IIT Delhi, under the MHRD Government of India’s ICT initiatives. Dr. Bahadur’s dedication to teaching is evident from her extensive experience in delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses, particularly in Engineering Physics, Lasers, and Research Methodologies. Her contributions to academics and society have been recognized through several accolades, including the “Employee of the Quarter” award from Amity University, Greater Noida, and the “Shiksha Rattan Samman” by the Nayya Foundation, awarded in Asansol, West Bengal, for her excellence and contributions to education and national development. A passionate learner and committed educator, Dr. Preeti Singh Bahadur continues to inspire the academic community through her scholarly work, mentorship, and service.
