Prashant S. Gundawar
Prashant Gundawar
is a versatile experienced person, currently he is the Chief Academic Officer for the Sasmira group of Institutes and also Director at Sasmira Institute of Management Studies and Research. He has more than two decades experience in management education, research, training and consultancy. He has been a Ph.D. Guide of the Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), JJT University, Rajasthan. He has co-authored books on “Customer Relationship Management”, “International Marketing” and “International Business Environment”. To his credit are two patents and multiple research papers across UGC Care, ABDC and Scopus listed journals. His doctoral work was in the area of impact of cultural diversity on work performance in global business. His areas of interest include intercultural management, international economics, international marketing strategies, branding and consumer buying behavior. He has presented and published his research work across the National and International platforms. He has been conferred with prestigious awards like ‘Best Teacher Award’ by Lions Club, “India’s Most Innovative Education Leader Award” by World Education Congress, Taj Lands End (Mumbai), “Excellence in Education Development Award” by Asia Africa Development Council (Mumbai). He has chaired many conferences as a keynote speaker across Pune and Mumbai. He is self-directed resourceful and enthusiastic, a thorough academician with genuine interest in holistic student development. He is associated with various professional and social organizations. His rich industrial and academic experience has helped shape the careers of hundreds of students due to his guidance and directions. Under his tutelage, the institute got A+ accreditation form NAAC. Dr.Prashant Gundawar has been a Viva-Voce Refree and PhD thesis examiner for many University scholars until now.
