Dr.
Prabira Kumar Sethy
is an accomplished academic and researcher in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics at Sambalpur University Institute of Information Technology (SUIIT), Odisha, India, a position he has held since 2013. Dr. Sethy earned his Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Sambalpur University, focusing his research on the study and analysis of paddy diseases using image processing techniques. He completed his M.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (ISM), Dhanbad, and his B.E. in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Odisha. Before joining academia, Dr. Sethy gained industry experience as an Engineer at Doordarshan, Prasar Bharati, Government of India, from 2009 to 2013. His research interests encompass image processing, machine learning, deep learning, signal processing, and medical imaging.
