Pooja Kumari
(Ph.D. Finance, 2019) merges rigorous academic foundations with impactful applied research in accounting, corporate finance, firm efficiency and emergent financial systems. Her core expertise lies in corporate governance, the role of promoter holdings, industry-level financial performance, and the influence of cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence in taxation, banking and financial operations. Over the past five years she has published some 20 national peer-reviewed papers and 9 international ones, alongside 10 conference proceedings—highlighting studies on housing finance companies, efficiency of paper industry firms, and AI’s implications for Indian tax and customs regimes. Her Scopus-indexed work addresses governance scoring in SMEs and cross-industry performance determinants. In authorship, she has contributed books such as Financial System in Economic Development (2023), Export and Import Management (2024), and Intelligent Data Analytics in Business (2025). Her book chapters cover green accounting, financial derivatives and AI integration in business analytics. In industry-academia innovation she holds patents ranging from time-value-of-money frameworks in e-payment systems to AI-driven tools for customer relationship management, transaction tracking and employee feedback in financial contexts. She has reviewed for top journals, guided more than 50 student projects and supervised MPhil/PhD candidates. Her consultancy work includes a university-funded empirical study of India’s National Pension System in Bangalore—demonstrating her ability to bridge theory and practice in finance.
