Peter Mola Makolo
Peter Makolo
is a Lecturer and Researcher in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Auckland University of Technology (2022), an MSc in Electric Power Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology (2013), and a BSc (Hons.) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Dar es Salaam (2008). With over 16 years of experience in research, teaching, and consultancy, his expertise spans grid integration of renewable energy, energy storage systems, synthetic inertia, and power system dynamics. Dr. Makolo has published extensively in high-impact journals and conferences, focusing on inertia estimation and grid flexibility for renewable energy systems. His research interests include intelligent grid control, power quality, and AI-driven optimization for modern power systems.
