Paul Breen

Paul Breen is a Senior Lecturer in University of Westminster, London and a PhD graduate of University of Manchester. He has previously completed a Post Graduate Certificate of Education, and a Master’s degree in Education, specializing in English Language Teaching and Educational Technology. Born in Ireland, he has worked in a number of contexts both in the UK and overseas, including language schools in Japan and Australia, as well as a national university of technology in Korea. This is his first edited book publication, but he has previously had chapters and articles published in other academic works, alongside a body of publication in associated areas of interest. These include previous IGI Global publications edited by Siran Mukerji and Purnendu Tripathi, a conversational English textbook, and a work of fiction published in 2014 by Thames River Press. In recent years, he has presented at educational conferences in the United Kingdom, the United States, Finland, and Albania. Paul’s research interests are primarily in the areas of identity (professional, personal, and cultural), teacher development, educational technology, and studies conducted in researchers’ own workplaces.
