Patrick Francois

Patrick Francois is a sociologist. He holds a PhD in Anthropology and History from the University of Paris (France). He is now Professor at State University of Haiti and Quisqueya University. Since 2019, he coordinates the Master degree program in Diplomacy and International Cooperation at the State University of Haiti in collaboration with the Haitian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He is also a researcher at the Haitian Laboratory for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (LHELAC). His research focuses on social movements, armed group leaders and State reconstruction in a post-slavery society.
