Patricia Sainvilus
Patricia Sainvilus
is first-generation college student and first-generation Haitian-American in her family. She hails from Asbury Park, a small, urban town in New Jersey. Currently, she works at Saint Peter's University as an Instructional Designer for the Department of Online Programs. She has also worked as a psychology professor at various institutions specializing in topics such as I/O psychology, abnormal psychology, motivation, theories of personality, group behavior, and lifespan development. Prior to working in higher education, she worked in pharmaceuticals and healthcare for almost a decade. She is passionate about making a difference in the lives of those from disadvantaged backgrounds, especially college students. Patricia has a B.A in Psychology with a minor in Health Education and an M.A in Human Behavior and Organizational Psychology, both from Kean University. She is also completing her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership.
