Onias Matumbu
Onias Matumbu
is a lecturer in Religion and Social Transformation at Morgan ZINTEC College, an affiliate of the University of Zimbabwe. Holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Religion and Social Transformation from University of Kwazulu Natal in South Africa. Master of Arts in Religious Studies: University of Zimbabwe. Bachelor of Arts Honors in Religious Studies: University of Zimbabwe. Post Graduate diploma in Education: University of Zimbabwe. Research interests encompass a range of topics, including the intersection of religion with HIV and AIDS, mental health, the phenomenology of religion, climate change, gender issues, disability studies, and inclusive education. Serves as the Head of the department of Research, Technology, and Innovation at Morgan ZINTEC College. Founding member of the Zimbabwe Mental Health Initiative, which aims to address mental health challenges within the community.
