Onat Halis Totuk
Onat Totuk
is a seasoned mechanical engineer and academic with a Ph.D. from İskenderun Technical University, specializing in soft robotic peristaltic pumps. He began his academic journey at Middle East Technical University, earning a B.Sc. in ME and an M.Sc. in CAD/CAM, where he developed innovative CAM software for milling machines. Dr. Totuk started his career at ASELSAN Military Electr., integrating advanced CAD into manufacturing. He then contributed to MIKES Microwave El. Sys., enhancing production capabilities for defense systems. His leadership roles include managing NUMAS A.S. and G.E. Healthcare where he led production innovations, notably designing a phototherapy unit. In academia, he has taught at Çankaya and TOBB University, covering subjects from Additive Manufacturing to Design Theory. His research in CAD education and robotics is internationally recognized. As a freelance trainer, he shares expertise in innovation and R&D management with top institutions. His career is marked by awards like the TUBITAK High Tech Mentor and multiple NCR Worldwide Great Performance. Dr. Totuk continues to inspire and advance engineering solutions, bridging theory and practice.
