Nyikiwa Agreement Mavunda

Nyikiwa Mavunda is a part-time Lecturer teaching Human Resource Management at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She earned her PhD in Human Resource Management from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, where her research study was based on digital transformation and HR practices. She has over a decade of diverse experience in the Human Resources (HR) field and has developed a comprehensive skill set that spans various facets of HR management. Her career includes working for the Department of Education and the University, allowing her to adapt to different organisational cultures and needs. The key areas of her expertise include Recruitment, Employee Engagement, Performance Management, Training and Development, HR Policy and Compliance, and Organisational Development. Her primary research interests include HR Digital Transformation, Change Management, Human Resource Information Systems, Organisational behaviour, Talent Management, Training and Development, and Strategic Human Resource Management. Her teaching is aimed at creating an inclusive and dynamic learning environment. She believes in the importance of adapting teaching methods to meet diverse student needs and incorporating innovative technologies to enhance learning experiences. Her diverse experiences across different educational settings have equipped her with a broad skill set and a deep understanding of effective teaching practices.
