Noor Azlina Abu Bakar

Noor Azlina Abu Bakar is a senior lecturer in Medical Physiology at the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA), Malaysia. She holds a PhD in Physiology from Universiti Putra Malaysia, where she developed her expertise in cardiovascular and neurophysiology. Her teaching is grounded in innovative pedagogy, and she is known for integrating the Octalysis Framework into blended and online medical education. She is also passionate about educational development and serves as the Chairman of the Centre of Education Research Innovation Acceleration (CERIA), where she leads faculty initiatives on teaching excellence. Dr. Noor Azlina is actively engaged in research on the neuroprotective and metabolic benefits of natural products, particularly early harvest extra virgin olive oil (EHEVOO), focusing on oxidative stress, inflammation, and brain function. She has published academic books and scholarly articles and has won multiple research and innovation awards at national and institutional levels.
