Nkidi Phatudi

Nkidi Phatudi is an Emeritus Professor in the Department of Early Childhood Education, College of Education at the University of South Africa (UNISA). She is the past head of the department of ECD at UNISA. Her research interests are transitions in the early years and the teaching and learning of literacy in the Foundation Phase. She has published articles in transition of children and authored/ edited books on language teaching and recently was one of the coauthors of a book in Leadership in ECD: Global Perspectives on Leadership in Early Childhood Education published by Helsinki University Press.
