Nisha Thorakattu Madathil
Nisha Thorakkattu Madathil
is a researcher and educator specializing in Information Security, Federated Learning, and Health Data Analytics. She earned her PhD in Informatics and Computing from UAE University, where her doctoral research, “Enhancing Health Analytics: Secure and Private Federated Learning Solutions,” focused on privacy-preserving AI systems in healthcare. With over 15 years of teaching experience, Dr. Madathil has served as Visiting and Adjunct Faculty at UAE University and previously as a Lecturer and IT Trainer at MES Engineering College (India) and Syscoms College (UAE). Her research contributions include publications in top-tier venues such as the IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications, Computers in Human Behavior Reports, and the Computational and Structural Biotechnology Journal, covering areas like federated learning, cybersecurity in education, and privacy-preserving data analytics. Dr. Madathil is proficient in machine learning, data security, and programming across multiple languages, and she continues to advance secure AI systems for distributed environments and healthcare applications.
