Niran Adetoro
Niran Adetoro
is a Professor of Social Informatics and currently serves as the Vice-Chancellor of Gerar University of Medical Sciences, Imope-Ijebu, Nigeria. Prior to this, he was the Director of Academic Planning and Quality Assurance at Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED), Nigeria. His academic career includes teaching positions at three different Nigerian universities, both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Professor Adetoro's research interests encompass Information Technology, technology use, and information behavior among various user groups, including disadvantaged populations such as the visually impaired. He also explores the psychology of information use. In addition to his academic and administrative roles, Professor Adetoro has coordinated training programs on technology integration into education at TASUED.
